About the Role
This is a chance to experience the exclusive world of offensive cyber software development (CNO Development), while learning industry techniques from our experts. Stackpiercer is seeking a REMOTE CNO software development intern for the summer of 2026. Interns will be expected to research and develop essential offensive cyber tools and capabilities with the goal of productization for on-network Intelligence Community missions. The exact scope of this project will be determined based on discussions with the intern about their interests and capabilities.
Requirements
Required

United States Citizen and able to get a Security Clearance

Completing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or relevant STEM major

Experience in C or C++ and Python (Preferably on Linux)

Understanding of data structures (linked list, queues, etc.)

Understanding of memory management
-
Experience with version management (Git)

Desire for continuing education and solving challenges

Current TS/SCI Security Clearance

Linux experience
-
Understanding of networking and networking tools (Wireshark or tcpdump)

Experience developing software that interfaces with the kernel on any operating system

Experience in CTFs

Experience creating or implementing CVEs

Creating Proof Of Concept exploits or programs

Experience taking a Proof Of Concept to a delivered product

Embedded programming
