Stackpiercer is seeking a skilled and motivated test engineer for a wide range of products. This role invites career-oriented test engineers with a background in development and networking to team with industry experts tackling the industry’s hardest problems. Requirements
Required Skills
Strong proficiency in Python
Networking knowledge including TCP, UDP, IP subnets, routing, and the OSI model
Development, test, or other engineering experience or familiarity with embedded systems
Familiarity with modern software engineering practices (Scrum, Agile etc.)
Proficiency in configuring networks, endpoints, creation of routes, configuration of interfaces, subnets, etc.
Proficiency in network traffic analysis via tcpdump or Wireshark
Advanced familiarity with Linux and Unix-like operating systems
Desired Skills
Ability to coordinate with customers, interpret and negotiate requirements, and communicate effectively with product stakeholders
Familiarity with version control systems such as SVN or GIT
Familiarity with CM (configuration management) tools such as Puppet or Ansible
Required Certificate and Qualifications
